MEET MACKENZIE
Hi! My name is Mackenzie (you can also call me Mack, Kenz, or Kenzie.. all names I will respond to)!!
A Cincinnati native, Ohio runs through my veins. I take immense pride in my Buckeyes and Who Dey roots. Ohio will forever hold a special place in my heart.
Since 2017, I've proudly called Raleigh my home. It didn't take long for me to feel that undeniable urge to lay down roots here. Shortly after my move, I crossed paths with my partner, Stephanie, and together, we've started a little family with our little furbaby, Paxton.
The source of my strong work ethic and drive is undoubtedly my mother, a successful corporate career powerhouse. My dad, on the other hand, instilled in me his knack for task management and analytical thinking. It's from both of them that I draw my playful side, always remembering that "there is little success where there is little laughter."
Inspired by my Uncle Bryan, a seasoned commercial real estate investor, I obtained my real estate license at the age of 18. While I briefly explored software sales during a four-year hiatus, which led me to Raleigh, I soon realized it didn't satisfy my entrepreneurial spirit or provide the meaningful impact I yearned for. So, I found my way back to real estate. Looking back, I wouldn't change a thing. I owe my gratitude to my family, friends, and colleagues for their unwavering support during this exciting and nerve wracking transition.

In early 2023, I made the bold decision to venture out on my own and founded Driftwood Residential, a boutique brokerage built on positive energy and genuine connections. Our core mission is to get things done – whether it's buying, selling, or investing in real estate. We're here for it all!

MEET STACY
Hi, I'm Stacy Murphy, formerly Stacy Gallicchio. I grew up in CT with two brothers and parents who were high school sweethearts. Married right out of high school (against their parents' better judgment), they had very little. They started to make their way by building (with a contractor) partially finished homes for themselves, finishing them and selling. Every time getting bigger and better until finally, not only did they have their dream home, but they also had enough equity and savings to live the way they had always hoped. Watching this process (5 out of 7 times) and directly benefiting from the results gave me a true and deep appreciation for real estate.

Prior to getting licensed, I worked in the restaurant business in some capacity since the age of 15. After finishing culinary school in the early 2000s, I moved to New Orleans where I worked for Emeril Lagasse. From there, I went on to work at numerous James Beard award-winning and recognized restaurants, including Ming Tsai's Blue Ginger.

After being married to my wonderful husband for 7 years, we became pregnant and had my son Jeremiah in 2014. When he was 3 months old, my husband got an opportunity that would ultimately change our lives. Nate was offered a job in Raleigh, and we had exactly 2 days to make a decision. After consulting Google to figure out whether Raleigh was in North or South Carolina, we talked with our families and friends and decided, "Why not? It's only 2 years? We will be back before you know it."

After 3 months in Raleigh, we knew we had found our forever home. I can't imagine raising our son anywhere else. I absolutely love Raleigh, so much so that I managed to move my parents, both my brothers, and their families here. I can't wait to help others discover just how special our city is!
